26th August 2009 - The Economic and Trade Delegation of Nigeria visited JOC
On 26th August, the Economic and Trade Delegation of Nigeria, led by Mr. Washley Armadoo who is the director of Nigerian Ministry of Agriculture and the chief minister of Ministry of Economic Affairs and Mrs Eveline Obodoo who is the president of Nigerian Lagos Industrial Bank, visited JOC in the company of a team led by Mrs Cha Meilong who comes from HongKong Cha Group, and JOC President Yang Dawei and his party warmly welcomed it.
On the morning, the delegation had a deep discussion and communication in respect of developing agricultural and new energy projects with corresponding leaders from technological company and Ex-im Bank, and a basic common view of close cooperation was reached. From the afternoon to the next day, in the company of President Yang Dawei, the delegation visited Nanjing Jinling fertilizer factory, Anhui Guangde Hewei Co. Ltd, Liyang water conservancy power station, Liyang Zhengchang Machinery Co, Ltd ,etc., and had a further communication with JOC Zhengchang company on developing agricultural breeding and other issues. During the visit, the government of Liyang city grandly treated the delegation to welcome its visit.
This visit effectively strengthened the cooperation base, broadened the communication scope and pushed the business process of economic and trade cooperation. For JOC and relative places, this visit has very important senses to the active exploitation of African new markets and the going-out strategy.
