On 18th December 2008, Ms. Riva Ganguly Das, the Consulate General of India in Shanghai, and her party of four visited JOC. This visit was the first since Ms. Riva Ganguly Das had came into office. JOC board chairman Yang Dawei and President Hwang Hongliang warmly received the delegation. Ms. Riva Ganguly Das had a very high opinion of the contribution that JOC had made for Chindia trade.
