While making efforts to improve international trade business and the quality of the investment, JOC integrate her advantageous resources to provide and enlarge her modern service business, such as bidding, chemical storage and logistics, IT service, export of labor service, real estate development, tourism, etc.
From 2002 to 2010, JOC achieved 1.2 billion US dollars for international bidding and 8 billion RMB for domestic bidding. Through international bidding, JOC imported equipment for some key infrastructure projects such as Nanjing Metro, Suzhou Light Rail, No. 2 Bridge of Nanjing Yangtze River, Sutong Bridge, Wuxi People’s Hospital, etc. From Oct. 2008 to the end of 2010, over 2000 cargo vessels berthed at the terminals and utilized the storage facilities JOC owns.
